The existing small tub was removed to provide for a new, more spacious shower including a hand-held massage shower head and  Multi-function "rain" shower.  The old soffits were removed for placement of more modern lighting and mirrors.  Extra foot details were added to the all-wood cabinetry.  Granite countertops were used with brushed nickel faucets.
